As you have begun to read A Long Walk To Water, we are slowly beginning to see how much of an effect water has on our every-day lives, regardless of where we live in the world. When I was in middle school, oil, was a major resource that the world highly valued and still does today. As you will learn, water, is emerging as a major resource that is needed by all. Why might both water and oil be so highly valued? How are they similar, how are they different?
As we begin to finish up or projects and start constructing our presentations. It is important that we reflect on the research that we have gathered and the skills we have learned. Share something that you have learned about either:
1. Your topic - What is something that you can share to your peers that they may not know about your topic? 2. Research - What is something that you have learned how to do since we have started our research? How has this skill allowed you to take in more information and where do you see yourself using this skill in other subjects? (creating an outline, citing sources, creating subtopics, exploring a variety of sources etc.) |
